Guidance and counseling teachers at Yogyakarta City Public High Schools have achieved very good performance, it's just that there is a mismatch in the personnel component which includes the workload of guidance and counseling teachers in schools.
The performance of the guidance and counseling teachers in Yogyakarta City State Senior High School in terms of the working period of 0-9 years, 10-19 years, 20-29 years, and ≥30 years, has a very good performance with an average score of 85.5%, while The performance of the guidance and counseling teachers in Yogyakarta City State Senior High School with an educational background of S-1 guidance and counseling is in the very good category with 87% achievements, S-1 non-guidance and counseling is in the very good category with 82% achievement, S-2 guidance and counseling is in the good category with an achievement of 77%. (2) the planning component is 89% in the very good category, (3) the design component is 87% in the very good category, (4) the implementation component is 86% in the very good category, (5) the evaluation and follow-up component is 75% in the good category, (6) 73% of the physical facilities components are in the adequate category, (7) the technical facilities components are 74% in the adequate category. The results showed that the performance of guidance and counseling teachers in Yogyakarta City State Senior High School (1) the personnel component reached 50% in the inappropriate category. Data analysis using descriptive statistics, percentage and two way ANOVA test. The validity of the instrument used expert validity. Retrieval of data in this study using a questionnaire, observation sheets, and documentation study. The sampling technique is a population sample. The population and sample in this study were 25 guidance and counseling teachers in Yogyakarta City Senior High School. This research is an evaluation research with a quantitative descriptive approach. This study aims to evaluate the performance of guidance and counseling teachers in the implementation of guidance and counseling programs and to see the performance of guidance and counseling teachers in terms of their tenure and educational background in Yogyakarta City State Senior High School.
